Arthur Lugan is a queer Paris-born writer-director whose debut short film, Aftersex, was selected for BFI Flare 2024 and is currently touring festivals.
His journey took a pivotal turn when he left France to study in London, where he graduated from Westminster Film School. Signed with Lise Arif Agency, Arthur has directed music videos for artists like LANA and worked with the renowned fashion brand Agnès b. His work blends imagination and reality, revealing the poetry in everyday life.
He is currently developing his next short, Forever Asphodels, an LGBT story in collaboration with Melancholia, Trans On Screen, Agnès b. and an ensemble cast featuring acclaimed actors and influencers. A self-described "dreamer," Arthur continuously seeks new artistic challenges, creating captivating new worlds in his future projects.
